A community movement, not a package tour

This edition of the New Zealand New Year journey has been arranged specifically for the Sindhi community — built around food comfort, senior-friendly pacing, familiar company and two celebration evenings that anchor the trip. Guests may depart from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai or Ahmedabad using Feelivacation-selected economy-class flights, arriving into Christchurch on 27 December.

    Christchurch → Kaikoura → TranzAlpine → Mt Cook → Queenstown → Rotorua → Waitomo → Auckland → Man O' War

    Two community gala dinners

Both galas are included in all three tiers and in every FOC land package.

    Gala 1

31 December 2026. The centrepiece evening of the journey — community dining, music, games, entertainment and the midnight countdown in Queenstown, with Indian / Jain / pure-vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu planning.

    Gala 2

    Sindhi Farewell Gala · Auckland

9 January 2027, on the last day of the journey. A closing celebration arranged at a suitable Indian or premium restaurant venue wherever feasible, with community awards, group photographs and farewell moments.

All other dinners across the journey are regular group dinners. Décor, DJ, stage, AV, live entertainment or alcohol are not included unless specifically mentioned in writing.

    • Jain meals are planned without onion, garlic and root vegetables, subject to final guest count and kitchen capability.

    Venue-specific dining rule

Outside food is not permitted at Man O' War, Hobbiton, Te Puia, Milford Business Class and TSS Earnslaw/Walter Peak. At these venues, vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be served according to the venue menu. A separate Jain kitchen, separate utensils or zero cross-contact cannot be guaranteed.

A large group without the mass-tour feeling

Guests may be divided into smaller experience pods. Timings, slots and in some cases the order of activities may vary between groups, while every traveller receives the confirmed inclusions of the selected tier. Milford and TSS Earnslaw may be exchanged between 1 and 2 January for operational comfort and supplier capacity.

    Rotorua: wellness and fun centre

Each traveller chooses one afternoon activity from Velocity Valley, white-water rafting, Rotorua zipline or ZORB, subject to operator age, weight, mobility and medical requirements. A lower-intensity alternative may be offered where contracted.
