Why the May 2027 early winter edition
Some journeys are simply holidays; others become memories shared for generations. This expedition has been curated to show the very best of New Zealand with premium accommodation, thoughtfully planned Indian and Jain meals, comfortable transport and world-class experiences. Feelivacation tour managers accompany the group throughout.
Late May into early June marks the beginning of winter in New Zealand — crisp clear days, the first snow on the Southern Alps, dramatic alpine views and far fewer crowds. Travelling at the start of the winter season lets a community group enjoy premium hotels and marquee attractions at a relaxed pace, with far better availability than the peak New Year window. Warm layers are recommended, especially in the South Island.

Depart India
Depart from Delhi or Mumbai on Singapore Airlines. Enjoy premium onboard service, meals and entertainment as your New Zealand journey begins.

Arrive Auckland
Arrive in Auckland and meet the Feelivacation team. Transfer to Cordis Auckland. After check-in and some relaxation, enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing on the journey ahead.

Auckland city tour
Visit Viaduct Harbour, Mission Bay and Mount Eden before exploring Queen Street and Commercial Bay for shopping and leisure.

Auckland harbour sailing
Experience Auckland from the water with a premium harbour sailing experience. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the waterfront before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Hobbiton Movie Set & Rotorua
Travel through the Waikato countryside to the world-famous Hobbiton Movie Set. Explore the Hobbit Holes, Bagshot Row and the Green Dragon Inn on a guided tour before continuing to Rotorua. Check in to Pullman Rotorua and unwind at the renowned Polynesian Spa overlooking Lake Rotorua.

Kaikoura whale watching
Travel along one of New Zealand's most scenic coastal routes to Kaikoura. Board a whale-watching cruise in search of giant sperm whales, dolphins, seals and seabirds before returning to Christchurch.

TranzAlpine rail & Mt Cook region
Experience the iconic TranzAlpine rail journey through alpine landscapes before travelling to the Mt Cook region. Guests on the Community Premium package enjoy an unforgettable helicopter flight over the glaciers before continuing to Queenstown.

Another relaxed day in Queenstown before gathering for the Community Gala Dinner. Celebrate the journey with music, entertainment, awards and memorable moments shared with fellow travellers.

Milford Sound
Travel through Fiordland National Park and board a Milford Sound cruise. Experience waterfalls, rainforest, towering cliffs and one of the world's most spectacular natural environments before returning to Queenstown.

Queenstown exploration — Glenorchy & Arrowtown
Enjoy a scenic excursion to Arrowtown and Glenorchy. Wander through Arrowtown's heritage streets before continuing to Glenorchy, famous for dramatic alpine scenery and film locations. Return to Queenstown for dinner.

Departure and homeward journey
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your Singapore Airlines flight towards India via the scheduled connection. Extended leisure days and departure clusters are arranged within the 20 May – 5 June 2027 travel window according to the confirmed airline routing.
